Kate in Croton Point Park

One of our favorite places to shoot is at Croton Point Park. It's located only 45 minutes from NYC. It used to have a campground, and was once well maintained. We loved walking along the beach, and find a tree to climb. It was a beautiful place to watch the sunset, while the waves crashed beneath us. Unfortunately, some of the coastal areas have been damaged from previous storms. Many of the beach areas are difficult and dangerous to access now.  However, the park is still spacious and an excellent place for a family bbq.
